Grant Writer and Manager - Remote

Overview

Centivax is a mission-driven biotechnology company developing broad-spectrum vaccines and therapeutics to protect against current and future threats. We are seeking an experienced Grant Writer to lead the preparation, submission, and management of grants and non-dilutive awards to advance Centivax’s vaccine and therapeutic programs.

In Short

• Independently draft, edit, and submit research and development grant proposals.
• Collaborate with scientists and project teams to gather technical content.
• Proactively source novel opportunities and track deadlines.
• Lead the creation of budgets and supporting documentation.
• Monitor progress and reporting requirements for awarded grants.
• Prepare interim and final reports for funding agencies.
• Coordinate compliance with grant terms and deliverables.
• Support audit readiness and liaise with finance leads.
• Excellent writing and organizational skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Scientific background required; Ph.D. or M.S. in relevant field preferred.
• Proven track record of successful grant writing.
• Familiarity with grant systems and federal funding mechanisms.
• Experience in managing post-award grant compliance is a plus.
