RN Telephone Triage - Weekend Shifts (Remote)

Overview

This position involves providing nursing care via telephone to patients and their families, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to address health needs.

In Short

• Position involves nursing care for callers, patients, and families via telephone.
• Works within medical protocols and nursing standards of performance.

• Part-time weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) from 8am to 6pm.
• Orientation is on-site for 12 weeks, Monday to Thursday evenings.
• Must be local to the DFW area.
• Requires a current Texas nursing license.
• 5 years of pediatric experience required.
• Cook Children's Medical Center is an EOE/AA employer.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 5 years pediatric experience required.
• 3 years pediatric ED/UCC and/or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas.
