Tax Strategist - Remote

Carry is on a mission to help our customers grow wealth through smart strategies, tax-advantaged investing, and personalized planning. We started with the Solo 401(k) for self-employed business owners and are rapidly expanding our suite of products across investing and tax.

In Short

• Serve as Carry's tax authority and answer tax-related questions.
• Identify tax strategies worth productizing and help prioritize the roadmap.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams on tax logic.
• Stay current on tax law and translate changes into opportunities.
• Assist with client-facing tax questions as needed.

Requirements

• CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Attorney.
• 2-6 years of experience with individual and small business tax planning.
• Focus on tax optimization rather than just preparation.
• Product-minded and execution-focused.
• Comfortable in a startup environment.
• Experience in fintech, tax software, or planning-focused firms.
• Familiarity with retirement accounts and investment taxation.
