Cyber Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Cyber Security Engineer will provide cybersecurity engineering guidance and perform accreditation tasks to ensure the security and continuous monitoring of networks.

In Short

• Provide cybersecurity engineering for system accreditation.
• Work with project teams to ensure system security.
• Support Authority to Operate (ATO) and IT audits.
• Investigate security incidents impacting national security.
• Configure secure systems and test security products.
• Generate security architecture documentation.
• Design action plans to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Travel required up to 100%, including OCONUS.
• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Knowledge of risk assessment tools and techniques.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools.
• Ability to communicate security issues effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and SharePoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Systems integration knowledge required.
• Minimum DoD IAT/IAM level II certification.
• Networking experience desired.
• DoD IAM/IAT Level III certifications preferred.
