Overview

KSL NewsRadio is seeking an individual to join the team in an on-call capacity as an anchor/host, providing coverage during vacations and other absences.

In Short

  • Join KSL NewsRadio as an on-call anchor/host.
  • Provide coverage during vacations and other absences.
  • Work shifts from 4AM-1PM and 2PM-7PM.
  • Deliver clean and concise news updates.
  • Co-host 4-hour news blocks.
  • Collaborate with producers on show development.
  • Contribute creative ideas for show topics.
  • Maintain professional and technical capabilities.
  • Work in compliance with company policies.
  • Additional responsibilities include writing and interviewing.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of on-air experience.
  • College degree in Journalism or relevant field preferred.
  • Ability to conduct talk shows with charisma.
  • Conversational, knowledgeable, and articulate in current affairs.
  • Ability to operate studio equipment.
  • Desire to innovate show segments.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • In-house audition may be required.
