Financial Accountant (100% Remote EUR)

Overview

Bitfinex is a digital asset trading platform on a mission to create the most innovative cryptocurrency exchange. We are looking for a Financial Accountant to provide daily accounting and support services for our finance team.

In Short

• Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of source data in the accounting system.
• Assist in performing bank, investment, and system reconciliations.
• Oversee the review of expense documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage contractor reimbursement claims and payouts.
• Support the finance team in managing external audits.
• Prepare and post journal entries for various adjustments.
• Perform regular analysis and reconciliation of accounts payable.
• Ensure adherence to financial accounting processes and policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.

Requirements
