Overview

Bento Box is looking for experienced Storyboard Directors for a very successful animated series that combines adult comedy with strong musical foundations, layered with dark horror elements and emotional storytelling.

In Short

• Lead a team of storyboard artists to produce storyboards for the series.
• Collaborate with the Creator/Show Runner, Producers and Director.
• Read and review scripts and identify potential storyboard challenges.
• Create rough thumbnails for scenes with complex action.
• Review and revise storyboards as necessary.
• Implement all executive notes.
• Create rough animatic assemblies for review stages.
• Regular check in with team members to ensure tasks are understood.
• Work closely with other departments for smooth transitions.
• Strive for excellent communication within the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience storyboarding in episodic series animation.
• Experience leading teams and facilitating productive environments.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver and respond to feedback.
• Strong proficiency in Storyboard Pro.
• Comfortable working digitally on a Cintiq.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes easily.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
