Overview

Full Time Academic Tutors at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts facilitate meaningful learning of the course competencies in the curriculum and proactively support all facets of the learning environment.

In Short

• Be subject matter experts in technology and academic topics during 1:1 Zoom sessions.
• Deliver educational, technical, and emotional support for at-risk students.
• Assist in workshop experiences that complement academic objectives.
• Develop resources and supplementary curriculum content.
• Attend scheduled program meetings and faculty meetings.
• Communicate with students and staff during posted hours.
• Manage outreach request sheet and team email account.
• Conduct daily administrative tasks.

Requirements

• One year of full-time college; at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Culinary Degree or Certificate (Preferred).
• Culinary & Education Experience (Preferred).
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Manage own time and work priorities effectively.
• Use technology to create efficient processes.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Ability to adapt quickly and think critically.
