AV Installation Technician Lead - Remote

Overview

The AV Installation Technician Lead will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the installation and management of audio-visual systems, ensuring proper cable management and equipment installation.

In Short

• Lead a team of 3-4 install technicians.
• Travel to job sites with paid expenses.
• Read and interpret drawings and documentation.
• Pull cables and manage installations of racks and equipment.
• Provide field engineering and troubleshooting services.
• Develop AV systems cable lists and running lists.
• Knowledge of Crestron and networking is essential.
• Experience with QSC and Biamp is a plus.
• Installation and configuration of video walls is a significant advantage.
• Active DOD Secret clearance is required.

Requirements

• Must have experience leading a team.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Knowledge of proper cable pulling techniques.
• Experience with AV equipment installation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Networking background with understanding of rack and stacks.
• Familiarity with AV systems and cable management.
• Knowledge of QSC and Biamp hardware is desirable.
• Experience with video wall installations is a plus.
• Active DOD Secret clearance is mandatory.
