Experienced OPI/VRI Native Hindi Interpreter - Remote

Overview

This is a remote role for a Hindi OPI/VRI Interpreter at AsiaLocalize, responsible for providing accurate and culturally appropriate interpretation services during OPI/VRI sessions.

In Short

• Provide accurate and clear interpretation of verbal communication between Hindi-speaking patients and healthcare providers.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy standards such as HIPAA.
• Accurately interpret complex medical terminology in both languages.
• Facilitate communication and ensure understanding between healthcare professionals and patients.
• Fluency in Hindi and English (both spoken and written) is required.
• Proven experience in medical interpretation, certification in medical interpretation is a MUST.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology in both languages.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations and maintain professionalism.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends (if necessary).

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a medical interpreter or in a healthcare setting.
• Certification or accreditation in medical interpretation.
