Investor in Gaming and Web3 Ventures - Remote

Overview

The Gaming Catalyst is seeking an Investor to join its venture team and play a key role in identifying and supporting high-potential projects at the intersection of gaming and Web3.

In Short

• Source, evaluate, and recommend investment opportunities aligned with GCP’s mission and thesis.
• Conduct due diligence, market analysis, team assessments, and token/equity modeling.
• Support the preparation of investment memos and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the venture team to refine investment frameworks.
• Support portfolio companies with operational help and strategic guidance.
• Track portfolio performance and contribute to reporting efforts.
• Build relationships with founders, developers, and other investors.
• Represent GCP at industry events and through ecosystem engagement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in venture capital, gaming, crypto/Web3, or early-stage tech investing.
• Strong sourcing instincts and analytical capabilities.
• Familiarity with game studios and crypto-native investment models.
• Experience with investment diligence and financial modeling.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Arbitrum ecosystem or L2s is a plus.
• Operator or founder experience in gaming or crypto is a bonus.
