Overview

The Test Engineer will be involved in the On-Board Emissions & Fuel Economy team, focusing on vehicle testing and analysis for various vehicle technologies, primarily in Heavy Duty vehicles.

• Conduct complete vehicle testing and analysis for emissions and fuel consumption.
• Manage and report on project activities.
• Define test vehicle instrumentation requirements.
• Supervise test protocols and validate data.

• Ensure quality standards in test equipment control.
• Participate in projects for fuel/energy consumption improvements.
• Collaborate with technicians for daily task planning.

Requirements

• Experience in vehicle testing, especially in fuel consumption and emissions.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles in the Powertrain field.
• Project management experience.
• Proficiency in Office applications and Excel macros.
• Willingness to travel for testing and commercial visits.
• Self-motivated and a good team player.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; other languages are a plus.
• University degree in Mechanics, Electronics, or similar.
