In Short

• Support design and engineering of major components for large-scale energy storage projects.
• Conduct and review arc flash analysis, reactive power studies, and TOV studies.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies in engineering drawings and studies.
• Prepare technical scopes of work for contracts.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to solve problems and integrate systems.
• Evaluate specifications for major equipment purchasing.
• Navigate permitting requirements and propose solutions to challenges.
• Travel approximately 10% for project-specific duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 7+ years of Solar/PV Engineering and/or Construction experience.
• Expertise in power electronics, battery storage system design, substation design, or generation tie design.
• Proficiency with ETAP, PSCAD and PSSE software.
• Knowledge of energy storage technologies and battery safety standards.
• Familiarity with IEC 61215, 61646, 61730.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to handle specialized technical tasks independently.
