P&C Licensed Binding Authority Specialist - Remote

Overview

The P&C Licensed Binding Authority Specialist will work with wholesale placement teams and underwriting teams on specialty binding authority business, focusing on policy formation, renewals, endorsement underwriting, and customer service.

In Short

• Accountable for policy formation and renewals.
• Underwrite less complex excess/surplus coverages and endorsements.
• Ensure quotes and binders are confirmed in writing.
• Maintain complete client documentation.
• Communicate with clients and agencies.
• Build underwriting reports and checks for consistency.
• Work with the underwriting team to understand processes.
• May participate in projects based on skills.
• Demonstrated experience in customer-oriented solutions.
• Relocation support offered for eligible candidates.

Requirements

• Experience underwriting binding authority for commercial products.
• Knowledge of state-specific regulations.
• Experience using PC software applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Licenses required within 30 days of hire.
• Must maintain active license status.
• Ability to work in a flex office/home role.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.
• Experience in processing rules and procedures.
• Proof of successful completion of pre-licensing course if unlicensed.
