Financial Planning Analyst - Remote

Overview

8am is looking for a Financial Analyst to assist the CFO with general finance initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis, providing substantial opportunity for leadership experience and professional development.

In Short

• Assist Finance Department with development of financial forecasts and budgets
• Engage in the annual planning process and on-going quarterly forecasts
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial and operating reports
• Assist in the development and production of monthly reports
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators
• Assist in development of quarterly reports
• Support management team with analysis and reporting
• Provide financial analysis for recurring meetings
• Increase productivity by developing automated applications
• Develop financial models and conduct benchmarking

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail
• Solid knowledge of general accounting and financial planning
• Able to work independently
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Highly analytical and detail oriented
• Extensive database experience and working with BI tools such as Tableau
