Overview

AECOM is seeking a Utilities Project Manager – Gas to support the coordination of utility and railroad work with internal teams and third parties, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

In Short

  • Coordinate with clients, Design Builder, and third-party utilities or railroads.
  • Report on discovered utility/railroad issues and participate in issue resolution.
  • Prepare status reports and maintain tracking logs for issues and resolutions.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with utility/railroad land rights and design standards.
  • Utilize Microsoft software applications for project management.
  • Analyze large data sets and convey findings effectively.
  • Travel may be required for this role.
  • Sponsorship is provided.

Requirements

  • BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or equivalency.
  • 7+ years of experience in the utility/railroad field preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to track large data sets.
  • Ability to prepare technical correspondence and comprehensive reports.
  • Understanding of land survey principles and legal descriptions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in developing and reviewing alternative route studies.
