Senior Project Manager (Water Design-Build) - Remote

Overview

The Water Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, Water Design-Build Senior Project Manager. This position will be part of an exciting team employing the latest technologies to solve critical water supply, treatment, and infrastructure projects throughout the United States.

In Short

• Manage ongoing Design Build water and wastewater projects.
• Lead the development and capture of upcoming design build pursuits.
• Oversee multi-discipline design teams and project management activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered on budget and on schedule.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams.
• Frequent short-term travel up to 50% may be required.
• Experience in managing projects of $30 Million or more is preferred.
• Strong commercial and construction contract experience is essential.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary.
• Experience with local and state regulatory agencies is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of experience.
• Valid Driver's license required.
• 20+ years’ experience in water/wastewater industry preferred.
• Ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage risk.
• Experience in managing engineering and construction subcontractors.
• Proven project management skills with job accounting knowledge.
• DBIA certificate preferred but not required.
