Senior Indirect Tax Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Indirect Tax Analyst is a key member of the AECOM Indirect Tax team, responsible for supporting indirect tax planning, research, and strategy across all US entities, with flexibility for hybrid work schedules.

In Short

• Conduct comprehensive research on tax rates, statutes, and regulations.
• Assist and/or manage indirect tax audits.
• Monitor and evaluate indirect tax law changes.
• Analyze returns and communicate trends of inconsistencies.
• Independently analyze contracts for indirect tax implications.
• Conduct regular reviews of indirect tax positions.
• Mentor and provide technical training to analysts.
• Lead the preparation and/or review of various tax returns.
• Review and resolve tax notices.
• Provide expert tax guidance to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Tax, or similar.
• At least 4 years of relevant tax experience.
• Expertise in tax research methodology.
• Experience with Indirect Tax Research Tools.
• Strong project management skills.
