Overview

AECOM is seeking an experienced Field Biologist for immediate, part-time variable employment in the Los Angeles County region, primarily supporting LA Wildfire Recovery. This role involves conducting biological surveys and working on various natural resource projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in biology, ecology, or related field.
• 4 years of relevant experience in natural resources biology.
• Experience conducting biological surveys and environmental compliance.
• Field experience with special status species of Southern California preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with electronic data collection methods.
• OSHA-40 certification preferred.
• Flexible and willing to support multiple projects.
