Driver II CDL - Remote

Overview

The Driver II CDL is responsible for delivering products to customers while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. This role involves operating a commercial vehicle and maintaining customer relations through timely deliveries.

In Short

• Drive commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers.
• Ensure accuracy of paperwork related to deliveries.
• Maintain safety of employees and the public during operations.
• Perform inventory checks and stock rotation.
• Resolve customer complaints and report complex issues.
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Participate in training for health and safety compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance on the vehicle.
• Assist with various projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Valid Class A or Class B commercial license.
• Preferably possess a HazMat endorsement.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Experience with routing software and fleet management systems preferred.
• Must maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (25-75 pounds).
• Ability to work extended hours in a commercial vehicle.
