Technical Artist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Character Technical Artist to join our team, supporting the creation and optimization of characters and related systems for real-time content in Unreal Engine.

In Short

• Provide support in the design, creation, and optimization of character assets.
• Develop and implement character customization pipelines.
• Set up and maintain character equipment systems.
• Prototype new technical solutions for character creation.
• Support the integration of advanced material and UV workflows.
• Create, optimize, and troubleshoot Blueprints and plugins.
• Collaborate with various teams to establish material and pipeline standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years game development experience focused on Tech Art.
• Expertise in Unreal Engine and DCC tools.
• Strong experience with character equipment and blend shapes.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Houdini is a bonus.
• Ability to create processes for modular control rigs.
• Experience with UV generation and material standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills in asset creation.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest tools and techniques.
