Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join Lucidya Cloud Engineering team and contribute to improving the reliability, scalability, and automation of our cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud environments, containerized workloads, automation tools, and monitoring systems, as well as a proactive mindset for enhancing system availability and performance.

In Short

• Ensure high availability (HA) and scalability of critical infrastructure components.
• Proactively identify and eliminate single points of failure.
• Handle infrastructure management tasks for Linux-based systems.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based workloads across major providers.
• Automate provisioning and maintenance tasks using IaC tools.
• Manage day-to-day operations of Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement monitoring solutions to track performance metrics.
• Develop automation scripts for operational tasks.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Contribute to best practices for infrastructure reliability.

Requirements

• ~ 3 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure roles.
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Proficient in scripting languages for automation.
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of networking and HA architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
