Digital Designer I - Remote

Overview

The Digital Designer I will work closely with the Audience Relationship Team and brand stakeholders to create engaging visual designs that support digital content strategies.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop visual designs.
• Conduct competitive research for design projects.
• Design layouts for email newsletters and interactive content.
• Create digital production art including illustrations and photo treatments.
• Maintain cohesive visual identities for brands.
• Participate in design team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Manage project tickets and communicate progress.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on detail.
• Potential for assignment extension beyond 6 months.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of design experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong typography and layout skills.
• Illustration and motion design skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Publishing industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Figma is a plus but not essential.
