Overview

Our client in the digital marketing industry is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper & Administrative Specialist to join their growing team. This fully remote role involves managing day-to-day financial operations and handling HR administrative tasks.

In Short

  • Handle all AP/AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online
  • Prepare financial reports: balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Execute month-end and year-end close
  • Process payroll and coordinate with third-party provider
  • Develop and implement internal controls
  • Assist with audits and tax filings
  • Track monthly and annual results vs. budget
  • Manage employee onboarding/offboarding
  • Liaise with HR consultants and insurance brokers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive financial accounting experience
  • Background in digital or service-based businesses
  • Expert-level QuickBooks Online proficiency
  • Payroll processing experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
