Regional Sales Manager (Blow Molding, Injection Molding, or PET Experience Required) - Remote

Overview

Our client, a leading plastics manufacturer, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive B2B growth across the Midwestern United States. The ideal candidate will be a proven hunter with a strong track record of building lasting customer relationships and growing sales within the plastics manufacturing industry.

In Short

• Develop customer relationships to understand business needs
• Identify and propose solutions to capture sales opportunities
• Prospect new business and identify growth opportunities (75% new / 25% existing)
• Conduct meetings with customers across the Midwest
• Plan regular travel and set appointments (Typically ~Tu–Th travel, overnight ~1–2 nights)
• Communicate trends, pricing, and competition to internal teams
• Document sales activity and prospects in the company CRM
• Proactively notify customers of upcoming material cost increases
• Support with accounts receivable outreach as needed
• Collaborate with operations to improve efficiency, lower costs, & meet customer needs

Requirements

• 3+ years of B2B plastics sales experience is required
• Experience in blow molding, injection molding, or PET is required
• Proven ability to grow and manage a sales territory is required
• Willingness/ability to travel 40%–50% is required
