Overview

The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) applies cutting-edge technology to operating a reliable electricity system, managing competitive markets for wholesale electricity, and planning for the Empire State's energy future. The NYISO invites applications for a full-time intern on our IT Infrastructure team.

In Short

• Internship position on the IT Infrastructure team
• Focus on configuring and developing functionality within the ServiceNow platform
• Create workflows to automate processes
• Perform no-code/low-code development for new features
• Support the transition of legacy systems into ServiceNow
• Expand attributes within the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database
• Create processes to maintain core data within the platform
• Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in Computer Science or related discipline
• Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus
• Hybrid work model with local presence in Albany, NY area

Requirements

• Knowledge of JavaScript
• Fundamentals of database design and data management
• Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions
• Current enrollment in an undergraduate program focused in Computer Science or related discipline
• Familiarity as an end user of ServiceNow a plus
